Hike to Snow Lake

I have to brag for a second, this little guy of mine hiked a whopping EIGHT miles a few weekends ago. Jasper has long since been too heavy for the carrier and so he has had to hike on his own for at a least a year now. Normally, this means we have been doing shorter hikes, but we decided to give it a go the other weekend and I was thoroughly impressed with the outcome. As a family we enjoyed a glorious day up in the mountains, a picnic lunch by the lake and enough happy memories to tie me over for awhile.
