A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Ebey's Landing

Ebey's Landing

Winter might not seem like the best time of year to enjoy a place like Ebey’s Landing, but if you time it right you can partake in beautiful bluff views, fresh air and maybe even spot an eagle or two. When we get an itch for a change of scenery we often find ourselves boarding a ferry. Sometimes that ferry is bound for Vashon or Bremerton, but every so often that ferry is bound for Whidbey Island. In days of old, we would stop in Coupeville for brunch at Knead and Feed, but during times of pandemic (and sadly Knead and Feed has closed) we pack a lunch and head straight for Ebey’s Landing instead.

We walk along the trail and do what we do best pre pandemic,- avoid the crowds. Ironically, this random mid week day the trail was the busiest we have ever seen it, but like all trails the further you go on it the more the crowds thin out and before you know it you have the place to yourselves.

After our hike we spent some time down at the beach. If there are rocks and water I know we are going to have a couple happy campers. Add in a beautiful sunset and I am one happy Mama.
