A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Pike Place Market

Pike Place Market

In the summertime, Pike Place Market often turns into a mob of tourists. I often feel like a fish swimming upstream as I make my way through crowds of people. Despite all of this, I still like to go there for the fresh flowers, cheese, some of the best fresh seafood I can find and always Ellenos greek yogurt.

On this particular day, I needed to pick up some flowers to make corsages for all the guests to our annual church's Garden Party. Jasper was in rare form, lying in the middle of walkways, pulling the heads off of flowers I had just purchased and trying to pick up all the cigarette butts he could find. But there were also the precious moments like when he excitedly waved to a group of construction workers (which seemed to make their day) or when he climbed up beside an elderly gentleman and started chatting away to him. Of all the traits I want to remember about Jasper at this age the quality I admire the most is his fearless interactions with others. He smiles, he waves, he flirts like he is the greatest person on the planet- and just for the record I think that he is!

Motherhood isn't always easy, but every day is certainly a beautiful adventure.
