Making plans: Spring to do list

There are so many exciting things to do as the days get longer and the weather becomes warmer. Here is a list of my top things to do this Spring:

Visit University of Washington's campus and check out the glorious cherry blossoms and spend some time in the Suzzallo Reading Room. 

Create fun Easter treats for our dinner guests and festive Easter treats to deliver to friends and neighbors. 

Take a day trip to LaConner for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.

Enjoy long walks around the neighborhood to take photographs of all the signs of spring. 

Make use of the influx of delicious berries to the farmer's markets by making this Old Fashion Berry Cake. ​

Take in a Mariner's baseball game or two. 

Start to generate ideas for a festive Easter dinner

Enjoy spending more time outdoors in the evening whether it be going to a park or enjoying a picnic. 

Mail out homemade invitations to our Easter dinner or a Spring Social. 

Start to make lighter fare for dinner like this easy salmon on a bed of watercress. 

Take to the water and go kayaking.
