A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Raspberry picking at Harvold's

Raspberry picking at Harvold's

The temperatures in Seattle have been warmer than usual this May and June which meant raspberry picking has come a little early this year. Jasper and I made it point to visit our local u-pick on the very first day they started picking. We picked as many berries as we could, but little did I know he had every intention of eating more than he picked.

Last year, Jasper happily sat in a stroller in the field, but this year he was all about being in the thick of things. Not only did he shove every possible berry in sight into his mouth, but he threw a gigantic rock into our prized berries and as his final performance he took both hands and simultaneously smashed most of our berries. I now realize he was just eager to make jam, but in the moment I wondered where my sweet little boy had gone to. At the end of the day my dusty, dirty, raspberry stained boy wrapped his arms around me and all was well again.
