This week's discoveries

One of my favorite ice cream brands, Snoqualmie Ice Cream has just launched a new organic line of ice cream. Wahoo! I am excited to try all of the flavors.

I have made these same cookies on repeat at least a couple times a month for the past six months. And as further proof I am obsessed with them I have even made a batch or two of the dough and given them as gifts. I would say this is a good enough reason alone to share this recipe with all of you. And when the name of the recipe is The Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookie you really can't complain. 

The most poignant thing I read this week was this moving article written by Amy Krouse Rosenthal entitled "You May Want to Marry My Husband" featured in the New York Times. The article was thoughtful, thought provoking and a little painful to read at moments. By the end I had a lump in my throat at the very thought of the ones I love time being cut short on this earth. From start to finish it was one the loveliest love story I ever did read. It inspired me to jot down my own love story in hopes that someday it might motivate someone to dig deeper and love truer the way this piece did for me.
