A little bit about Lisette.....

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

This is my place to share my passion for life and to encourage you to take time to find the extraordinary in your life.

Electric Boat Company

In honor of our twelfth anniversary and Father's Day we wanted to do something special as a family so we rented a boat from the Electric Boat Company on Lake Union. I have always wanted to rent one of these cute boats, so I figured now was as good a time as any. I spent a couple hours putting together a festive picnic with thoughtful touches like homemade lemonade and brownies and then rounded out the rest of the meal with our favorite Salt Spring Island cheese, crackers, baguette, salami, fresh fruit and veggies. With Cameron driving the boat and me chasing Jasper around it was a little less relaxing than I had anticipated, but Jasper was thrilled to see all the "big boats" and I never grow tired of watching a seaplane take off or come in for a landing.

Sleepless in Seattle house boat.

Jasper keeping watch for boats, planes and kayaks. Just like on land, he is Mister Friendly smiling and waving his little heart out to each passerby.

A simple picnic to celebrate us!

Jasper is never far from the food.

On the boat there was an audio hook up so we listened to a few our favorite songs along with a heavy dose of Caspar Babypants for Jasper.

I am grateful for my little family and the life we have built together over the past twelve years. We might not have it all, but we have our health and each other and that is pretty much all I could ever ask for!

Ha! Our appropriately named boat, "Spoiled Watten"
