Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest I feel most alive surrounded by trees and breathing in the fresh mountain air.

When I am not working you will most likely find me spending time outdoors, volunteering with my church and exploring this beautiful planet with my family.

A couple of Saturdays ago we finally made it to Henna Blueberry Farm in Carnation. I have wanted to visit this place for a long time, but this past weekend was finally the day. When we arrived we were the only people there aside from one other car. We enjoyed a lovely time as a family picking blueberries and having the place to ourselves. The lady who gave us our buckets was even thoughtful enough to give us extra bags in case we wanted to pick blackberries too.
