Family date to the Space Needle
Over the past year Cameron and I have not gone out on many dates. This has occurred mainly because we are particular about who we leave Jasper with and because most often a childless evening means attending one of Cameron's work events or doing church service. As a result, instead of the traditional date we have adopted the family date.
With Summer quickly coming to an end we try to spend time outside in the evenings as frequently as possible. A few months ago we invested in an annual pass to the Space Needle and before we knew it months have passed since we had been to the top. One evening we went up to see the sunset and were reminded how much we love this city despite the traffic, the crazy growth, the expensive home prices etc.
Lake Union and the MOHAI.
When the fiery sunset turns to hazy pastels.
It took us several years to realize the Space Needle even sold annual passes, but when you have a toddler who likes to hop from one activity to the next it is nice to be able to pop up there for an hour for a beautiful evening in the city.
A beautiful night at the Space Needle.
